Business & Services

Are you a broker? Do you hire subcontractors?

No. Bravo Moving is not a broker and does not hire any subcontractors. Bravo Moving is a professional moving company that will move you out of your old location and into your new one. Moreover, at Bravo Moving, we use only our trucks and trailers, and the only people you as a customer will engage with are Bravo Moving employees.

Is Bravo Moving licensed and insured?

Always make sure to verify this about the moving company you consider! And yes, Bravo Moving is fully licensed and insured to move you from/to anywhere.

We are licensed and insured by the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Federal Maritime Commission. We are held to the highest standard by the Better Business Bureau.

Do you have storage capabilities?

Yes, we also have storage capabilities. Would you mind speaking with your Relocation Consultant in regards to options and pricing?

Do you move pianos?

Yes, our moving team is trained to move all kinds of pianos.

Do you provide a shuttle service?

Yes. Shuttle service, in case needed, is provided by Bravo Moving. However, it has an additional cost.

Can I get a Certificate of Insurance for my building?

Yes, we can provide a COI after your reservation is made, at no charge. COI is up to $10,000,000.

Do you provide packing services?

Yes, we provide packing services. Would you mind speaking with your Relocation Consultant in regards to options and pricing?

Pricing & Payment

What are available payment methods?

We accept Credit/Debit Card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa), Certified Bank checks, and Postal Money Order.

Do I pay before or after my items are offloaded at delivery?

Subject to federal law, payment in FULL of all charges is required before delivery and before unloading.

Before & After the Move

How much time should I reserve for my move in advance?

If you have a specific time and date restrictions, always try to plan and schedule your move a month in advance. Book an onsite consultation to get started now.

If something is damaged during my move, isn’t Bravo liable to replace it?

Bravo Moving is only liable to replace or repair damaged/missing items if you chose to purchase the Full Value Protection for an additional cost. We also work with a 3rd party company as another option for protection.

If you have chosen to go with the Free Basic Coverage, the liability is 30 cents per pound for local moves and 60 cents per pound for long-distance distances.

What do I contact after my move if I have any questions or concerns?

You should contact Customer Service regarding all questions or concerns about your move. Our contact methods are listed here.

Pickup & Delivery

What time should I expect the movers to arrive?

Our customer service/dispatch department will determine that. You will receive a call at least 48 hours before moving from the Customer Service Department with the time frame.

What is a delivery window?

A delivery window is a window of dates that your items will be delivered within. The delivery window is based on the size of your move and the distance. You or someone else must be present to accept your shipment during the dates provided.

Can I choose the date that I want my items delivered?

Bravo Moving does offer guaranteed delivery options. Would you please speak with your Relocation Consultant to see if that option is available for you and inquire about pricing?

What is the latest time the movers work?

Unless there are building restrictions, our movers will work until the job is complete.

Will inclement weather affect the process of my move?

Weather can affect the delivery window in case roads are blocked due to severe weather conditions.

In all other cases, the weather should not affect your move, as we employ professional movers who are properly trained, prepared, and fully equipped to handle all activities during any inclement weather. Once your crew arrives, their professionalism will automatically put you at ease.

How long will the move out take?

It depends on the size of the move. Your Relocation Consultant will be able to give a better estimation based on the specifics of your move.

How many guys will there be?

Depending on your job size, our teams range from 2 to 8 guys.

Will the movers unmount my television?

Movers can unmount the TV for an additional charge.

Will the movers uninstall my air conditioner?

Due to liability issues, our movers cannot uninstall/install air conditioners. We suggest that the air conditioner is uninstalled before the movers arrive.

What happens if you get a parking ticket during my move?

Unless it is your car that got the ticket, you have nothing to worry about.

Do I need to be home during my move?

Ideally, we encourage customers to be present during their move so you can supervise the process; if you cannot be home, we ask you to designate an adult representative that you can trust to help manage your move in or out (friend, family member, assistant). The person needs to be an adult, and a Power of Attorney must be signed before the movers reach your home or office.

Packing & Unpacking

Do you provide Boxes?

Boxes can be provided. If you are interested in buying boxes, you may do so with your relocation consultant. The sizes vary. There are small, medium, large, china, and wardrobe boxes.

Should I empty my dresser drawers?

Yes. To prevent damages, we recommend emptying all drawers. See our helpful tips for packing and moving before the movers arrive.

Can I pack liquids?

Liquids are prohibited on trucks for safety reasons.

Can I pack using plastic bags?

We can move luggage or duffel bags, but plastic bags can rip and break easily, and they tend to bounce around the truck, which makes them not ideal for moving.

What does PBO mean?

PBO stands for items that are “Packed by Owner” (the shipper).

Can I ship my jewelry and important documents along with my household goods?

We recommend not packing essential documents or items such as personal financial information, car keys, insurance policies, cash, prescription medicine, licenses, birth certificates/passports, jewelry of extraordinary value, etc. You can take them with you or have them shipped separately by a friend or family member after you move in. Bravo Moving does NOT cover these items.

Do you charge for wrapping and protecting the furniture?

No. We always wrap and protect your items with blankets and shrink wrap before placing them on the truck. It is always a part of our service.

Miscellaneous

Should I tip the movers? How much?

A tip is in no way mandatory; however, it is customary. This is a general question regarding moving, and we have a great blog post about it here.

How big is the truck?

A straight truck ranges anywhere between 18′ and 26′ long. A tractor-trailer is 75′ long.

Can I go in the truck along with the movers?

No, this is not possible due to safety and insurance reasons.
